At GuwahatiBazaar.com, we do not store or preserve perishable items. To maintain authenticity, freshness, and quality, we follow a batch shipping model.

• Once you place an order, it is considered as a pre-booking for the next delivery batch.

• Your items are procured fresh from farmers and artisans in Assam and the North East, packed carefully, and then shipped directly to you.

• Delivery usually takes 7–10 days, as we only ship freshly sourced batches.

2. Batch Updates

• Customers will be informed about batch movements and shipping timelines through the GuwahatiBazaar Community WhatsApp Group.

• This ensures full transparency from source to doorstep.

3. Shipping Charges & Costing

• Our pricing reflects the unique supply chain involved.

• Product cost is usually low, but shipping cost is higher because:

  • Products are sourced from remote villages and deep rural areas of Assam and the North East.

  • Multiple transport stages are required — from farms/artisans to collection hubs, then long-distance carriers, and finally, last-mile delivery.

• We believe in being transparent so customers understand why shipping adds to the final cost.

4. Possible Delays

While we aim to deliver on time, occasional delays may occur due to:

• Climate conditions or natural calamities

• Seasonal harvesting or availability issues

• Road/railway transport disruptions

Customers will always be updated in case of delays.

5. Delivery Coverage

• Currently, we deliver only within selected Indian pin codes.

• Delivery to remote areas may take longer than the usual timeline.

• We do not ship internationally at this stage.
